🌍 Nether Alderley Mill, Congleton Rd, Nether Alderley SK10 4TW. Closed in 2021. There was a mill here in 1290, replaced by the present building in the 16th century and the machinery is Victorian. It's an attractive pink sandstone building, with a ski-slope of a slate roof, backing onto its reservoir. The water powers three overshot wheels to grind corn and two are still working.
