- 🌍 Muncel Monastery (Mănăstirea Muncelu), Valea Șesii 517434 (about 5 kilometres from Baia de Arieș), ☏ +40 786 052 505. Known as the Monastery of Martyrdom of the Nation, it is a place of pilgrimage where on the second Sunday after Pentecost, the monastery celebrates its dedication with believers.
- The Resurrection of the Lord church (Biserica „Învierea Domnului”) from 1769, is listed as a historical monument.
- The Emperor's Beech (Fagul Împăratului): on the right bank of the Aries, upstream of Baia de Aries, near the village of Muncelu. It exhibits marcescent foliage (foliage that dries but remains on the trees in winter). The leaves turn brown in autumn.
