Bambari

Bambari Is the third largest city in the Central African Republic, lying on the Ouaka River. It is an important market town and is also home to an airport. In 2012, it had a population of 41,000 people.

Bambari is notable for the large deposits of iron ore that have been discovered nearby. However, the lack of sophisticated transport infrastructure in the area means that the ore is yet to be mined at all.

March is usually the hottest month with an average temperature of 27.3°C and July the coolest month with an average temperature of 24.1°C. The rainy season lasts 7 months around the summer solstice from April to October.
