Botucatu
Botucatu is a city in the state of São Paulo. It's called the Land of adventure. There are many waterfalls to hike to. The town offers paragliding and other extreme sports.

The city has an estimated population of 120,000 inhabitants (2005). It has a mild climate (average temperatures of 22º C) and a relatively high altitude, which varies around 800m.
Get in
From São Paulo there are several daily departures by intercity bus. The trip costs R$55-83 (Dec 2021). There are multiple bus companies serving this route. The app Buscaonibus covers them for finding a ride.
There are also some Blablacar rides from São Paulo for around R$55 (Dec 2021).
