Brahmavar
Brahmavar is in Udupi district. It lies to the immediate north of the city of Udupi.

- 🌍 Barkur. Barkur is a historic cluster of 3 villages where you can find the ruins of many forts, among them Simhasanagudde, Vijayanagara fort, and Nandana fort. You will also find many old Jain structures called basadis, in addition to many Hindu temples. There are exactly 365 temples in this region, one for each day of the year. Majority of them are related to Lord Ganesh. .
- 🌍 Bengre Beach, near Kemmannu (Exit NH66 after Kallianpur Santhekatte and head towards Kemmannu). An estuary around 20 km away from Udupi town, you can see the sea on one side of the road and the river on the other.
Eat
- Akshaya Canteen (Shetra Hotel), opposite to Little Rock Indian School - Chanthar - Brahmavara (on the way from Udupi to Kundapur, at Brahmavara bus-stand take right turn toward Hebri, on the way to Hebri after Brahmavara 4 km journey). It is very famous and traditional managed small canteen. But food available here is good one. Many traditional food items like idly wada sambar, uppitu avalakki, rava vada, masala vada and other foods like maddur wada are very famous. It is worth a trip from Udupi to here to taste the food.
