Bukit Tinggi is a good 45 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur. It is the exit after Genting Highlands.

By bus

There is a daily shuttle bus provided by Berjaya that runs from Berjaya Times Square, KL to Colmar Tropicale, Berjaya Hills. It runs at 10:00, 13:00, and 17:00. It costs RM35/adult and RM30/child for a one way transfer. Returns are RM55/adult and RM50/child.

The distances between the attractions in Bukit Tinggi are a considerable distance. Driving your own transport around is a practical way go about it. Every main attraction in Bukit Tinggi has a parking space for your own transport.

By foot

The areas within Colmar Tropicale's vicinity such as the Japanese Garden are within considerable walking distance.

Berjaya provides a complementary shuttle from the Colmar Tropicale village center to surrounding areas within the vicinity, such as the Japanese Garden.

  • Clock Tower. The clocktower looms over the town, gives you a fairly impressive view of the surrounding hills and is a perfect viewpoint to climb up, especially during the night when the town lights are lit. There is an elevator.
  • Colmar Tropicale. This small French village modeled after a place of the same name in France is rather picturesque (which will excite photo enthusiasts) and makes for a great place for relaxing. It is suitable as a romantic getaway for couples or a family escape for families. The crowd would swell on weekends as city-goers would usually come here for a close retreat away from the rush and bustle of the city.
  • Japanese Garden.
