Burutu
Burutu is a Local Government Area in Delta State with its headquarters in Burutu town.

Burutu borders Ughelli South to the north, Ethiope West to the northeast, Ethiope East to the east, Patani to the northwest.
With Atlantic Ocean lying to the south of Burutu Local Government Area, Bayelsa State borders it to the south while Rivers State to the southwest.
The people of Burutu are majorly Ijaw with few of the population being Urhobo and Itsekiri. The dwellers are into fishing, agriculture, oil and gas.
