Central Angola
Central Angola is a region of Angola that comprises the provinces of Benguela, Kwanza Sul, Huambo, and Bié. Most of the region is occupied by the central highlands, known in Portuguese as the Planalto Central. The escarpment at the western edge of the plateau drops to the coastal plains in Benguela.
