Central Montenegro is a region in Montenegro. It is centered around the capital Podgorica.

- 🌍 Podgorica – The capital and biggest city in Montenegro, experiencing a huge architectural boom in the last couple of years.
- 🌍 Cetinje – The old royal capital of Montenegro, with a large number of museums, monasteries and former embassies.
- 🌍 Danilovgrad – Near the famous Ostrog monastery.
- 🌍 Nikšić – The second largest city in Montenegro and economically important.
- 🌍 Rijeka Crnojevica – A small historical town on the ancient trading route through the country.
- 🌍 Tuzi – A small town in the Podgorica municipality which is a major trading center, due to its location, between the Montenegrin capital and Albania.
- 🌍 Virpazar – The main entry point to the Skadar lake, belongs to the municipality of Bar.

- 🌍 Lovćen National Park – A beautiful mountain with natural, cultural and historical scenery, and the spectacular Mausoleum of Njegoš.
- 🌍 Skadar Lake National Park – The largest lake on the Balkans and the natural habitat of the very diverse flora and fauna.

Buses are frequent and most connect to Podgorica or Nikšić, but also available between smaller towns.
