Chandler sits northeast of Oklahoma City on SH-66 and I-44, and north of Shawnee on SH-18.

- Route 66 Interpretive Center, 400 E First St., ☏ +1 405-258-1300. Apr-Aug 7 days a week, otherwise Tu-Sa 10AM-5PM. This is a great museum, with many different displays regarding Route 66. Also some nice photography on exhibit from various artists.
Do
- Chandler has two lakes, Bell Cow Lake, and Chandler Lake. Bell Cow Lake, which features camping, boating, fishing, and horse trails, is north of town.
- Chandler Golf Course, north of town.
- The Lincoln County Raceway, a quarter-mile dirt track, is south of Chandler.
- Ioway Casino (on SH-66 between Chandler and US-177). The Ioway Casino is operated by the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma and has 250 machines.
