This place is near an Assam town named Naharkatia. The place can be reached only via roads. The nearest airport location is Dibrugarh.

There is nothing much to see in this small town except that the place by itself is very beautiful with lot of tropical forests, wild elephants and the zig-zag road. Nearby Narottam Nagar is where the Rama Krishna Mission School is located. This is one of the best schools available apart from Sharada Mission school, which is only for girls.

This place is a treat for environmentalists, biologists, and nature lovers with several varieties of fruits and rich flora and fauna.
