Dharmanagar is the second most populous city in Tripura.

Close to the Bangladeshi border, before the partition of India the town of Dharmanagar had strong ties to what is now the Sylhet Division.
Get in
- 🌍 Dharmanagar railway station, New Bazar, Padmapur. The main entry point into the city apart from the roads. The facilities and amenities at the station are not great and there is limited shelter.
See
- 🌍 Rowa Wildlife Sanctuary (Adjacent to the national highway). A small sanctuary reflecting the natural vegetation of the region. You will able to spot several species of birds and primates.
- 🌍 Kailasahar.
- 🌍 Jampui Hills. North Tripura (approx 200 km).
- 🌍 Unakoti. Historic site containing large and mysterious yet fascinating rock-cut and stone sculptures of Hindu deity Shiva.
Stay safe
The area is prone is flash flooding during the monsoon season.
