Eagan

Eagan is a city of 69,000 people (2021) in Minnesota on the south bank of the Minnesota River, upstream from the confluence with the Mississippi River. It is a suburb in the southern part of the Twin Cities region.

Get in

Most people arrive in Eagan by car. For people staying at one of the hotels along Cliff Road between Highway 77 and I-35E, there is a complimentary hotel shuttle bus. Check with your hotel. For other destinations in Eagan, a taxi from the MSP airport costs $20-30.

There is also some limited public transportation. The Metro Red Line from the Mall of America stops in northwestern Eagan at the Premier Outlet Mall. And the Minnesota Valley Transit Authority operates some buses.

There are local routes as well as express routes to the Minneapolis and St. Paul downtown areas. See the Metro Transit site for route information.
