Get in
By car, US 40 passes through Edgewood and Interstate 95 passes near by (get off at exit 77, Edgewood). By train, there is a MARC station with southbound service for the morning commute and northbound in the afternoon/evening. The Harford County public bus can bring you from Bel Air and other parts of Harford County.
See
Flying Point Park (picnic, water access). Go to the east end of Willoughby Beach Road, then turn left.
The Melvin G. Bosely Conservancy is 350 acres of tidal marsh and wooded wetlands owned by the Izaak Walton League of America – Harford County Chapter. There are hiking trails mostly in wetland area. Access is from a small parking lot at the northeast end of Perry Avenue. The area is a component of the Anita C. Leight Estuary Center or Otter Point Creek Alliance.
Part of Aberdeen Proving Ground, known until 1971 as Edgewood Arsenal. Visitors must have a photo ID to enter. Persons who are not military or federal employees must register at the Maryland Route 24 gate.
