Ericeira is an adorable seaside resort and fishing town in Greater Lisbon, Estremadura, Portugal. Ericeira (ee-r(ih)-SAY-ruh, /i.ɾɨ.ˈsɐj.ɾɐ/) is a fishing village in the municipality of Mafra, 50 km (31 mi) northwest of the centre of Lisbon and 20 km (12 mi) from Sintra. This tourist village has an area of 12 km2 (4.6 sq mi) and approximately 10,000 inhabitants (2011).
