- The beach. Lovely long sandy beach. However access over boulders hard for people with poor mobility.

- Fairbourne golf club. Bar open to visitors.
- Mawddach Trail. Walk or cycle along the 9 mile stretch of former railway line, that runs along the scenic estuary of the Mawddach river, from Morfa Mawddach, through Penmaenpool towards Dolgellau.

- Fairbourne Chippy, 5-7 Station Rd, ☏ +44 7876 670262. Freshly made fish and chips. Limited opening hours. Closes by 7.30 PM.
- Indiana Cuisine, 3 Beach Rd, ☏ +44 1341 250891. Now closed as Indian. Property now in use as Storybook cafe.
