  • 🌍 Christ Cathedral (formerly Crystal Cathedral), 13280 Chapman Ave (Near the 5, 22, and 57 freeways.), +1 714 489-6100. This all-glass church was home to the huge congregation built by the persistently up-beat Rev. Robert Schuller. This towering edifice, designed by noted architect Philip Johnson, was built for Schuller's television ministry. It was purchased by the Catholic Diocese of Orange in 2012. Christ Cathedral was rededicated in the summer of 2019 as the diocese's new mother church. The grounds are open, and tours are conducted Monday through Saturday at 10AM and 1PM. Daily and Sunday Mass is celebrated in the Arboretum.

  • 🌍 Augustino's Italian Restaurant, 12554 Valley View St, +1 714 891-2695. Referred to by locals simply as "Auggie's," this neighborhood Italian restaurant has delicious pizza and pasta for modest costs. Their complimentary garlic rolls are sublime. Delivery available.
  • 🌍 Perry's Pizza & Italian Restaurant, 6937 Chapman Ave, +1 714 898-7670. Perry's has become famous for its delicious thick-crust, square shaped and sliced pizza, though they also serve thinner pizzas that are traditional round pies. Lunch-goers can grab pizza by the slice along with other good combos. They have great pasta, sandwiches (the hot roast beef and cheese is scrumptious), and hot wings. Event catering and phone order pick-up are available.
