Haute Guinee
Haute Guinee is a region of Guinea. It is composed of the Faranah and Kankan administrative regions of Guinea, and was home to about 3 million people in 2014.

This region borders Mali and is distinctly drier than other parts of the country, sub-Sahelian in nature. It is home to the Malinke people and includes all of Kankan and Faranah provinces.
