Inagua

Inagua is a large island in the Bahamas, and the home of a good sized bird preserve.

Understand

Inagua is primarily known for its production of salt and is also a fishing destination for bonefish and tarpon. There's also a sizeable bird preserve on the island.

See

Visit the bird preserve. The manager of the preserve, George Nixon, is usually available to take tourists on sightseeing trips often featuring large colonies of the West Indies pink flamingo.

Eat and Drink

Almost all food and beverages are transported to the island by ship, and supply is often very limited.

Sleep

There are very few tourist accommodations on this island, so be sure to get reservations before you fly in.
