By car

The city is all avoided by the main roads in Hungary, it can only be reached by side roads from the surrounding settlements. It can be reached from Kiskunfélegyháza and Kiskunhalas, on the 5402 road connecting the 5404 road connects with Bócs and Szank, the 5405 road with Soltvadkert and the Szeged area, and the 5411 road with Kistelek.

By train

It can be reached by train on the MÁV Kiskunhalas-Kiskunfélegyháza railway line 155; the railway has two stops in the city: Kiskunmajsa railway station in the northern part of the city centre and Tajó stop near the western border.

  • György Konecsni Museum of Local History
  • 🌍 1956 Museum (56-os Múzeum), Marispuszta tanya 244, + 36-70-635-2570. By appointment. Hungary's only the 1956 revolution and freedom fighter museum. The museum opened in 1999 and features a T-55 tank in its yard. It has two exhibition halls. These show contemporary relics: flags, weapons, maps, photographs, newspapers, works of art by freedom fighters, and other personal items. Adult Ft1300, concession Ft600.
