See
- 🌍 Hoosier Gym. A historic gym that hosted basketball games of the local school from 1921 to 1966, and then stood mostly abandoned until 1985, when it was used as a main filming site for the movie Hoosiers. Since the film's release in 1986, it has become a shrine for fans of the movie, and to a lesser degree basketball fans in general. The gym is largely decorated as it was in the film, including a photo of the film's featured team, the Hickory Huskers, and a "Go Hickory!" banner on one wall. The gym can be rented out for play; many high school teams, some far removed from Indiana, do so each year for special events. The building also serves as a local museum and community center.
