Las Anod

Las Anod (Arabic: لاسعنود‎) is a town in Sool, SSC-Khatumo.

Since the turn of the millennium the city has changed hands numerous times, including by Puntland, Somaliland, Khatumo, SSC, Northland State and NSUM.

One of the largest cities of the Horn of Africa, Las Anod is home to about 400,000 people as of 2023. It is a region dominated by the Dhulbahantes, i.e. reer Darawiish.
