Las Piedras
Las Piedras is a small town and municipality located in the mountainous region of eastern Puerto Rico. Although not necessarily a tourist spot, the town is home to some indigenous archaeological sites, the southern portions of El Yunque rainforest and various restaurants.

Las Piedras translates to "The Rocks". The Las Piedras Pueblo has the municipal buildings, a Roman Catholic church, a main recreational plaza, and shops.

You can drive around the pueblo or park your car and walk around the square and into the plaza. The Spanish law, which regulated life in Puerto Rico in the early 19th century, stated the plaza's purpose was for celebrations and festivities.
