Lingbao
Lingbao is at the border of Henan, Shanxi, and Shaanxi provinces. It is the west gate of Henan Province, bordering the Qinling Mountains to the south and the Yellow River to the north. It has a permanent population of 736,000 in 2019. In ancient times, Lingbao was known as Taolin, also known as Taolin Fortress in the Zhou Dynasty. In 741 AD, which is the 29th year of the Tang Dynasty's Kaiyuan era, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty excavated the "Lingfu" at Hanguguan Pass and changed the year name to "Tianbao". He bestowed Taolin County as Lingbao County, symbolizing the meaning of "outstanding people, earth, and treasures".
