Madonna di Campiglio

This winter sports centre is not far from Campo Carlo Magno, an alpine pass between the Brenta group and Presanella, in the Adamello-Brenta Natural Park.

The town centre is quite small and can be easily explored on foot.

• 🌍 Adamello-Brenta Natural Park. This covers the huge mountains on the east and west of the village. 

• Skiing is the main draw here: 60 km of skiing slopes with cableways surround it completely. The slopes of Madonna di Campiglio are connected to those of 🌍 Marilleva, 🌍 Folgarida and to those of 🌍 Pinzolo forming a single ski area with more than 150 km of slopes.
• Skating is possible on the local lake, or at the ice arena of Pinzolo.
• Curling, Broomball and hockey can be practiced in the ice arena of Pinzolo.

• Two areas dedicated to paragliding, one at the 🌍 Pradalago peak and the other at 🌍 Mount Spinale. Further possibilities are again in Pinzolo.

• 🌍 Golf Campo Carlo Magno. 
• 🌍 Golf Rendena (in Bocenago). 

The surrounding magnificent mountains provide numerous climbing and hiking opportunities, on the 450 km of trails for trekking and mountain excursions, vias ferratas of varying difficulty.

• 🌍 Cima Tosa. 
• 🌍 Mount Adamello. A mountain on the border with Val Camonica, Lombardy 

Among the local specialties are:

• Spressa DOP, an old and tasty local cheese
• Garlic salami from Val Rendena and Garlic bacon
• savory pies based on local aromatic herbs and carrots
• An apple and walnut pie is the typical local dessert

The area is covered with hotels, hostels and similar - so there's no shortage of those (except obviously in high season).

In the summer season, even a few campsites are available in the area (though not directly in Madonna de Campiglio) - they also offer houses and beds, in addition to tent-places:
