Manigango
Manigango is a small town in Ganzi prefecture in Sichuan Province in south-west China. More or less a one horse (yak) town complete with Tibetan truck stop and curious and friendly gazzing nomads. Perhaps the most exotically Tibetan destination you will find in West Sichuan. Must see.

See
- Yihun Lhatso (Lake), 13 km West from town Near the road that goes to Dege. A clear and nice Lake. You can hire a horse in the lake, or come from town with a horse- takes 2-4 hours of Beautiful riding. You can also take a taxi from town or just walk or hitch hike. Enter Fee ¥20.
Do
- Horse Treks. A good way to see the countryside around the town. One nice option is to ride to Yihun Lhatso- A nice Lake 13 km from town. The owner at Pani Hotel can Help organize horses and guides - His wife\Daughter Understands a little English. 200 For horse + 100 For guide.
Eat
The truck stop will set you with the standard noodles and yak butter or Chinese tea.
Sleep
There are plenty of cheap options, although most of them lack running water and bathrooms.
- Manigango Pani Hotel (Jiudian) (On The road that goes to Dege 300m Up from the Main fork). The Biggest hotel in town. Common Bathroom Smells, No shower. The owner can help you organize Horse treks. Double ¥80.
- Feng Ling Du Guesthouse (On The road that goes to Dege 100m Up from the Main fork). This new guesthouse is located coveniently in the centre of Manigango. There is a shared toilet and free wifi available. The staff speaks some English, more than enough to get around. (May 2013) ¥30 for a bed in a four bed dorm.
