Milot is situated in the Lezhë County of northwestern Albania. It is a town that previously operated as an independent municipality.

Get in
You can get in by bus from Highway Rruga e Kombit (A1) which comes from Kosova. Or from Tirana by bus is 50 km near.
Get around
The town stands on the southern bank of the Mat River. Nearby is the well-known Zogu Bridge named after the leader Zog I of Albania. The bridge was built in 1927 to cross the Mat river and improve access to the north-west of the country.
