Moundou

Moundou is a city in the Soudanian region of Chad.

Moundou is the country's second largest city with about 142,000 inhabitants and is the capital of the southern Logone Occidental prefecture. The city is situated along the Logone River and is mainly populated by - and is the cultural centre of the - N'Gambaye people.

  • 🌍 Moundou Airport (MQQ  IATA). As of 2017, there are no scheduled flights but the national flag carrier of Chad, Toumaï Air Tchad, might restart flights if safety concerns are solved. The road between Moundou and the capital N'Djamena is paved.
