Namhansanseong

Namhansanseong is a mountain fortress city in the province of Gyeonggi just outside of Seoul. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Understand

The fortress city was utilized as an emergency capital city of the Joseon Dynasty of Korea.

Get in

Take subway line 8, bus 9 or bus 52 from Seoul.

There are many tour companies that run half-day and full-day tours from Seoul.
