Newport (Tennessee)
Newport is a city in Tennessee with a history of bootlegging and a bit of desperation to make it out of poverty in Appalachia. Though it went through a lot of ups and downs over the years, there aren't a whole lot of singular attractions to visit here.

Do
If downtown, try the 🌍 Newport Riverwalk along the Pigeon River and admire the Newport cityscape that probably hasn't changed much over time.
