Northwest São Paulo (state)

Northwest São Paulo is a region in the state of São Paulo. It is a mostly rural and sparsely populated area, with low industrialization level, and heritage left by Japanese immigration. A major attraction in the region are the beaches and nautical leisure at the reservoirs in the Paraná, Tietê and Grande rivers.
