Osiyan
Osiyan or "Osian" popularly known as the "Gateway to The Thar Desert", is a small town in Rajasthan, India known for its ancient temple ruins and as a base for camel safaris into the dessert. The ancient town was a great trading center between 8th and 12th centuries. Today it is a desert oasis with 16 Brahamanical and Jain temples that are beautifully sculpted and designed, most of which have stood the ravages of time.
