Owings Mills

Owings Mills is an unincorporated community of over 35,000 residents (2020) in Baltimore County, Maryland. Owings Mills is home to around a dozen major shopping centers and numerous office buildings.

Owings Mills is named after Samuel Owings. It was once a farming community but now hosts a myriad of developments and shopping centers.

Get in

Owings Mills can be reached by Interstate 795, which is exit 19 off Interstate 695. From I-795, take exit 4 to reach many points in Owings Mills.

It can also be reached via a subway system which drops right near the mall. But once in the area, a car is necessary.

Roads

The main roads in Owings Mills are Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills Boulevard, Painters Mill Road, McDonough Road, and Greenspring Valley Road.

Public transportation

The Baltimore Metro Subway has a final destination of 🌍 Owings Mills. From here, it is about a 15-minute walk to Owings Mills Mall. Bus line nos. 56 and 59, which run frequently, can take you directly to the mall, or to points on Reisterstown Road, but a vehicle is necessary to reach most points of interest
