Pembroke is a city in North Carolina. It is the home of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

Pembroke is also the tribal seat of the Lumbee tribe, which is the largest state-recognized tribe east of the Mississippi River, though without an official reservation. The campus here used to be the Indian Normal School.
