Petrovac

Petrovac is a resort town in Montenegro especially popular with families.

Understand

The city has only one playground and quite a small beach. The town is totally overcrowded in July and August, so be careful.

Get in

You can get to Petrovac by air, road or sea.

Get around

Petrovac is a small town so you can get everywhere by foot.

The closest beach is Lucica and is a 5-min walking. Petrovac have small city beach and it is more interesting to go to Buljarica 15 min walking on the 2.5 km long beach. Worth to see with cheaper restaurants than Petrovac.

See

  • 🌍 Castello. Check out the castle at the western end of the beach. It has a nice architecture and great views of the beach and cliffs.
  • Lucica beach 5 min walking
  • Village Rezevici 10 min towards Budva
  • Beautys of Buljarica beach 15 min walking

Do

  • 🌍 Perazića Do. An interesting 20-min walk to the next beach west, which goes through some interesting tunnels, just to climax in an ugly and unfinished hotel complex at Perazića Do beach. Heading up the hill, you will reach Reževići, which has a small monastery and from where you can head on to Sveti Stefan.

Buy

Voli megamarket in the center of the town, up hill.

Eat

Food is considerable pricey compared to the non-coastal rest of Montenergo.

Drink

Abundant bar to have a drink.

Sleep

  • Villa Oliva, Ulica 8/11, +382 33 461 194. Indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, steam room, spa/massages, beach access and views of the Mediterranean.
  • Hotel Rivijera, Obala BB, +382 33 422 100. Feels like it is kind of sunken into the hillside, but an inviting pool no less. $68.
  • Hotel Monte casa, Ulica X br. 3, +382 67 604 226. This is a pretty luxury class resort with spas, pools, a wellness center, restaurant, etc, overlooking the Mediterranean. $111.
