By bus

The Triad is served by Greyhound buses from other parts of North Carolina and beyond. Beyond that, PART has one line that goes from Chapel Hill to Burlington and Greensboro.

By train

Amtrak's Carolinian and Piedmont trains stop in Burlington, Greensboro, and High Point; this is a convenient and pleasant way to get to these cities from Charlotte or the Research Triangle. The Crescent also stops in Greensboro and High Point on its way from New York City to New Orleans.

Get around

PART (Piedmont Authority for Regional Transit) buses serve various cities and towns in the region. The system's big hub is the 🌍 Coble Transportation Center.
