Ravalli is a village in Northwestern Montana.
Understand
Named for a 19th century missionary, Ravalli's population is under 200 people. At one time, the largest herd of bison in the United States was here.
Get in
US Highway 93 connects Ravalli with Missoula to the south and Kalispell to the north. Montana highway 200 branches off from US 93 and heads northwest to Thompson Falls.

- Jocko River Trout Hatchery (10 miles south) is a Fish, Wildlife & Parks facility that produces trout eggs for stocking all over Montana. Visitor hours are daily 8:30AM-4:30PM. Best to call ahead for a tour and learn more about Montana's fish management practices.
