More than one hundred chainsaw carvers from all over the world converge on sleepy little Ridgway every year for a weekend of demonstrating their craft, connecting with other carvers, and selling their wares. The artistry and technical skill on display are astounding. Free.

A small chain (with stores in Ridgway, Clarion, and Brookville), Dan Smith's is an old-time candy store where local kids love to spend their coins. They make their own candy, as they have since 1953. They also have a selection of gift and home items.
