Rockport (Maine)

Rockport is a town in Knox County, located two and a half miles south of Camden on U.S. Highway 1. It is part of the Mid Coast region of Maine.

Not to be confused with Rockport (Massachusetts).

Get in

By car, Rockport is on US 1 (which tightly follows the coast) and state highway 17 (which runs from highway 90 in West Rockport westward to Augusta). The closest Interstate (I-95) is forty miles to the west in Augusta.

Camden and Rockport are both Atlantic harbours on West Penobscot Bay, reachable by cruising on small craft.
