Scalea is a resort on the south-western coast of Italy facing the Tyrrhenian Sea in the Golfo del Pollino, on a stretch of coast called "Riviera dei Cedri".

Lamezia Terme is the nearest airport, 1½ hours' drive away. It is accessible from many other Italian airports and from London Stansted.

Naples Airport is 2½ hours' drive from Scalea.
