🌍 Scone Station marks the terminus of the Hunter Line in the Intercity rail network with trains from Newcastle (which means you can use your Opal card), passing Maitland before branching towards and passing Greta, Branxton, Singleton and Muswellbrook. However, the number of trains at terminate at Scone is limited: on weekdays, the train leaves Newcastle Interchange at 3:18AM, 4:29PM and 5:59PM, and leaves at 3:55AM and 2:24PM on weekends. A timetable from TfNSW can be found here.

Scone is on the Main North railway line between Sydney and Armidale, and NSW TrainLink services the town daily.
