Shanghai/Fengxian
Fengxian (奉贤区 Fèngxián Qū) is a suburban district of Shanghai. By Shanghai standards it is almost rural, but it has a population of over a million and considerable development, mainly residential and industrial. Nanqiao town is the largest clump of development.
Get in
Metro line 5 was extended into Fengxian on December 30, 2018, with several stops in the district. There are buses:
- Nanmei Line (南梅线) from Jinjiang Park to Nanqiao Bus Station (南桥汽车站) (The park is on Hongmei Road; Nanmei abbreviates Nanqiao-Hongmei)
- Shangfeng Bus from the Shanghai South Railway Station South Square. (Shanghai-Fengxian)
- Xinnan Bus from Xinzhuang (Xinzhuang-Nanqiao)
The Shanghai end of any of these is a metro stop on line 1 ; of the three, Xinzhuang is closest to Fengxian.

- Three Women Temple (三女祠, Sān Nǚ Cí) (in Guhua Park). Named for the three daughters of the King of Wu during the Zhou Dynasty (1024-256 BCE) who hanged themselves rather than be caught by the King of Yue's soldiers.

Do
- Guhua Park (In Nanmei).
There are beaches on the South side of the district.
- Bihai Jinsha (碧海金沙, meaning Blue Sea, Gold Beach). A popular water park for Shanghai residents to go on weekends.
- Xinghai beach. Undergoing development as a resort.
