Shasta
Shasta is a town in Shasta County in the Shasta Cascades region of California. In the mid 19th century, Shasta was the commercial and shipping hub for northern California mines. The town declined in importance when it was bypassed by the Central Pacific Railroad and is now shadow of what it once was.
