  • St George Heritage Centre (in visitor centre). Located inside the shire's visitor centre, this heritage centre contains a great range of artifacts and old items used during the 19th and early 20th centuries.

  • 🌍 Miniature Car Collection, Scott St, +61 7 4625 3636. A large collection of diecast cars. Entry to the venue is free, but a gold coin donation would usually be welcomed.

  • The St George Show is celebrated every year over the Labour Day long weekend (weekend of the first Monday in May), Everyone is encouraged to go and locals have a great time sharing stories at the bar and watching the rodeo.
  • St George River Walk is a short 2-km walk along the Balonne River.
