Waveland (Mississippi)
Waveland is a city in the Gulf Coast (Mississippi) region.
Understand
In August of 2005, Waveland had the misfortune of being more or less wiped clean like a used slate by Hurricane Katrina, a bit of bad deja vu after being stricken by Camille before in 1969. But, like a tenacious pioneer on some hostile landscape, it tries to hold onto its precarious foothold by the sea.
