Winnfield is the county seat of Winn Parish in North Louisiana.

Winnfield is 49 miles south of Alexandria and is only accessible by car. The one highways that run through the town are:

  • US Highway 167 run concurrently north to south. north going to Ruston and US 167 north to El Dorado, Arkansas. Southbound goes to Pineville, and Alexandria.
