Wolf Point
Wolf Point is a town in northeastern Montana. About 2,500 people live there. It is the largest community on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation. The reservation is home to both the Assiniboine and Sioux Nation. It is unusual to have two tribes on the same reservation.
Understand
Wolf Point is located on what Montanan's refer to as the Hi-Line. The group of towns on the Hi-line fall along Highway 2 from Culbertson to Browning. Other far northern towns are also sometimes referred to this way.

By car
Most visitors arrive by car, traveling on Highway 2.
By plane

By train
- 🌍 Amtrack Station (Empire Builder), 320 Front St, ☏ +1 406-. This unstaffed station has restrooms but no other amenities. The Empire Builder operates daily between Seattle/Portland and Chicago. There are several stops in Montana including at Glacier National Park

- 🌍 Wolf Point Museum, 220 2nd Ave S (basement of the Roosevelt County Library), ☏ +1 406. M-F 10AM-5PM. Variety of local memorabilia. Open June through August.
Do
- Lewis and Clark Disc Golf, Highway 13 (north of the river). 9-hole disc golf course.
- Wadopana Pow-wow, ☏ +1 406 650-0636. First week in August. Traditional pow-wow with a variety of activities. Saturday has lots of things for kids.
- Wild Horse Stampede, Marvin Brookman Stadium. Second weekend of July. Rodeo at its finest, pure western fun. The event also has a noon parade, street dance, and carnival for the young 'uns.

Drink
- 🌍 Missouri Breaks Brewing - Doc'Z Pub, 326 Main St, ☏ +1 406 653-1467. Tu-Sa 4-8PM. Enjoy one of Montana's craft breweries with the Big Beaver Belchin' Ale, their flagship beer. Good selection of always on tap beer and a few seasonals to mix it up.

There are only 2 motels in town.
