Darlington Point is small enough to walk around on foot. For attractions located out of town, such as Altina, a vehicle will be required.

See

  • Murrumbidgee Valley Regional Park. A small regional park managed by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Services, protecting the northern banks of the Murrumbidgee River. There aren't many tourist facilities, but they do provide some laidback picnic spots by the river.

  • 🌍 Bunyip Hole campground, Forest Drive (in Murrumbidgee Vly RP), 1300 072 757 (domestic). Contains 15 unmarked and unpowered campsites with toilets alongside the northern banks of the Murrumbidgee River. $6 booking fee.

Telstra and Optus work reliably throughout the town. Vodafone service comes from a tower a few kilometers south-west on the highway and can get patchy indoors.

There are three Telstra payphones in Darlington Point; one near the police station, one near the caravan park and one at the truck stop at Waddi.
