Glenboro

Glenboro is a small service centre to the surrounding farms and is also a jumping off point to nearby Spruce Woods Provincial Park.

Glenboro is located at the intersection of PTH 2 and PTH 5, 1 hour southeast of Brandon and 2 hours southwest of Winnipeg.

• 🌍 Spruce Woods Provincial Park (10 min N of Glenboro on PTH 5), toll-free: +1-888-482-2267. Spruce Woods Provincial Park is located where the Assiniboine River passes through the delta of sediment left by the last glaciation. An area of open and stabilized sand dunes within the park provides habitat to species of plants and animals not found elsewhere in Manitoba. Camping available in the Kiche Manitou campground. • 🌍 Criddle/Vane Homestead Provincial Park (49 km NW of Glenboro, 10 km S of Shilo). Composed of a 130 hectare area that preserves and protects the heritage value of the former homestead of the Criddle/Vane family, Manitoba pioneers well-known for their contributions in the fields of science, art, sports, and culture.
