Liezen is a district and the major town in the Enns valley part Styria of Austria.

Liezen has approximately 7500 inhabitants. It got the town right in 1947. It is the regional commercial center.

The Austrian alpine club Liezen operates the climbing hall, which has 80 routes going 14m high and a boulder section. They offer courses from beginners on. One first needs to get a card for the entry, beware that the opening hours of the hall and the cash differ as regulars are card holders.

Buy

A stopping place to get in your suppliers of food, fuel and sports equipment. In the South and East of the town there is a huge shopping area with all kinds of markets.
